Donor Spotlight – Samora Suber, AMFT, E-RYT 500, BLS

Samora with her father, Malcolm
ARPF would like to thank Samora Suber, AMFT, E-RYT 500, BLS for being part of our Brain Longevity community and an avid supporter of our research. Although Samora has always had a passion for health and wellness, her journey into brain health advocacy took a drastic turn. In 2023, her father was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, which set her on a whirlwind search for solutions to his symptoms.
Already a yoga teacher well-versed in the power of mindfulness, Samora felt a pressing need to dive deeper into practices specifically benefiting memory, cognitive function, and overall brain health. Her search led her to ARPF’s Brain Longevity Therapy Training (BLTT) program. “When I read the description of what we’d be learning, I said YES, this is exactly what I’ve been looking for,” she said.
The BLTT program proved to be fulfilling. “I was able to infuse what I learned with my current work as a yoga teacher, life coach, and psychotherapist, as well as help my father live a healthier life,” Samora added. This direct application of knowledge to both professional practice and personal family well-being is one of the many benefits of the training. “ARPF has given people the power to fight against Alzheimer’s disease and related illnesses. The research is extensive, the programs are informative, and the community is supportive. I will always support their work.” Among ARPF’s many facets, the sense of community and continuous learning opportunities are foundational. “I feel valued and supported,” she emphasized.
Furthermore, a key practice Samora embraces daily is Kirtan Kriya. “It’s the tool that I resonate with most because it’s so somatic, it helps me ground and feel more focused. After I practice my Kirtan Kriya, I’m ready to face the day!”
Through dedication and outreach, individuals like Samora are not only enhancing their own lives but are actively contributing to ARPF’s mission to empower healthy aging and combat cognitive decline worldwide. We are so thankful to have her in our community and as an advocate for our research and programs.
