New Webinar: Putting Out The Fire
New Webinar: Putting Out The Fire
Did you know that the air you breathe every day may slowly be destroying your brain and lead to a whole host of medical issues?
On April 24th, we are having a second groundbreaking webinar on how air pollution is now a major risk factor for Alzheimer’s disease, memory loss, cancer, autoimmune disease, and heart attacks. The webinar will bring together the latest research from leading universities, as well as an evidence-based plan that you can implement today. We will discuss how you can save your brain and body from the ravages of air pollution and help heal and save the planet as well.
The webinar is led by world-renowned Professor George Perry, PhD, Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease and Professor at The University of Texas San Antonio, and Dharma Singh Khalsa, MD, President/Medical Director of The Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation and Prevention Editor of The Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease.
You’ll Discover:
- How research reveals that the brains of children in highly polluted cities such as Mexico City, as young as 11 years old, have a brain like a 50-year-old prone to Alzheimer’s disease.
- How brains from those in less polluted cities don’t show these degenerative changes.
- How evidence-based lifestyle practices such as a rejuvenation diet, yoga, meditation and spirituality can protect you from brain aging and illness caused by air pollution.

About the Presenters:

George Perry, PhD, is a world-renowned neuroscientist and the long-standing Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease, a position he has held since 1998. He currently serves as a Professor of Biology and the Semmes Foundation Distinguished University Chair in Neurobiology at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where he also served as Dean of the College of Sciences for over a decade. Dr. Perry has authored more than 1,000 scientific publications, making him one of the most-cited researchers in the field of Alzheimer’s research.
Dr. Perry is best known for his pioneering work on the role of oxidative stress in neurodegeneration. His research was the first to identify oxidative damage as a primary feature of Alzheimer’s disease, shifting the scientific conversation toward metabolic abnormalities and mitochondrial dysfunction.
Beyond his laboratory work, Dr. Perry is a highly decorated member of the global scientific community. He is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the Royal Society of Chemistry, and the Royal Society of Biology, and he holds prestigious foreign memberships in the national academies of Spain, Mexico, and Portugal. His interdisciplinary approach continues to influence how the medical community understands the complex relationship between redox-active metals, RNA oxidation, and the aging brain.

Dharma Singh Khalsa, MD, is a world-renowned pioneer in the field of integrative medicine and the prevention of Alzheimer’s disease. He is the Prevention Editor of the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease. As the founding president and medical director of the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation, Dr. Dharma has spent over 30 years bridging the gap between modern Western technology and ancient Eastern wisdom. Dr. Dharma’s multidisciplinary background as a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain specialist has shaped his unique Brain Longevity approach to cognitive health.
A prolific researcher and author, Dr. Dharma has published more than 40 scientific papers in prestigious medical journals and written several international bestsellers. He is best known for his landmark research on “Medical Meditation,” specifically the Kirtan Kriya technique, which has been shown in clinical trials to improve memory, reduce stress, and even affect gene expression. Most recently, Dr. Dharma has expanded his research to address the emerging threat of environmental neurotoxicology – focusing on the profound link between air pollution and cognitive decline.
Beyond his clinical and scientific contributions, Dr. Dharma is a global educator who advocates for a holistic “whole-person” approach to wellness. He lectures at leading medical institutions and has been a featured expert in major media outlets like The New York Times and CNN. By integrating spiritual practice with rigorous scientific inquiry, he continues to empower individuals worldwide to take control of their brain health through prevention and lifestyle strategies.
