Honoring Our Veterans
Honoring Our Veterans
March 29th is National Vietnam War Veterans Day. ARPF honors our courageous veterans for their service and sacrifice, and we extend our heartfelt appreciation to the families and communities who support them. We’re especially grateful for our collaboration with Wounded Warrior Project, where one of our Brain Longevity Therapy Training graduates, Samantha Vieira, LCMHCS, RYT500, BLS, has brought ARPF’s 4 Pillars of Alzheimer’s Prevention into a powerful wellness series for veterans and their loved ones.

In 2025, Samantha led a four‑part virtual series on diet and gut health, stress management and sleep, mental and physical exercise, and spiritual fitness and social connection, reaching 147 warriors and family members. Participants learned practical brain health tools, including Kirtan Kriya meditation. Veterans were also connected with ARPF programs like Movement Week and Caregiver Appreciation Week to help combat isolation and support caregiving at home. ARPF CEO Kirti Khalsa and Programs Director Chelsea Pyne had the pleasure of joining the series and answering questions about Alzheimer’s prevention. Samantha shared, “The feedback received from our warriors and families has been resoundingly positive and many have asked when the next sessions will be. We will run another four-part series in June 2026 in honor of Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month.”

By equipping veteran‑focused wellness coaches with Brain Longevity Therapy Training, we are helping make brain‑healthy habits more accessible in the communities that have given so much. On March 29, we say thank you to all Vietnam veterans and highlight the many ways today’s warriors and their families are using prevention‑focused tools to protect brain health across the lifespan.
We welcome all veterans and family members to join our programs and connect with our incredible Alzheimer’s Prevention Community.
