Volunteer Spotlight: Nancy Berrios
Volunteers play a significant role in the ongoing success of ARPF. Their expertise and devotion help us on a wide array of projects. Our team at ARPF couldn’t be more thankful for the community of supporters who are advancing Alzheimer’s prevention and brain health through their time, energy, and generosity.
This month, we would like to recognize Nancy Berrios. She has been lending her graphic design skills to ARPF, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her contributions. We had a chance to chat with Nancy about what inspires her to volunteer, her passion for design, and her experience designing the Pink Brain ProjectTM White Paper.
Nancy has been volunteering for non-profits for over ten years. She brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to ARPF. Her portfolio includes work in branding, posters, and web design, with a particular love for playing with images, colors, and typography to create impactful and engaging visuals.
For Nancy, volunteering for ARPF was an easy choice. “I chose to volunteer for ARPF because I truly admire its mission and the impact it has. Being able to contribute, even in a small way, to a project that makes a real difference is something that means a lot to me. Plus, I love meeting like-minded people who are passionate about the same cause!” she shared.
Nancy’s dedication to helping others aligns perfectly with ARPF’s 4th Pillar: Spiritual Fitness. “What motivates me the most is the desire to help and feel useful,” she told us. “Knowing that my work can bring something positive to others is incredibly rewarding. It’s also a great opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with inspiring people!” Giving back, helping others, having a purpose, and connecting to your community are all vital components of brain health, and Nancy embodies these values through her volunteer work.
The beautiful White Paper Nancy designed is no small feat. “I found the Pink Brain Project absolutely fascinating! The mission and dedication of ARPF was truly inspiring. I loved seeing how every detail was carefully considered to make a real impact. Working with this project was an enriching experience,” Nancy added.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Nancy for her contributions to ARPF. Her talent, dedication, and passion for our mission are truly appreciated. We’re incredibly lucky to have her on our team! Learn more about Nancy by visiting her website: www.visiblypresentimagery.com
