Marilyn Peppers-Citizen, PhD, MS, MBA, C-IAYT
Dr. Peppers-Citizen uses a balanced and integrative approach to support and mentor individuals on their journeys of aging well. She is a certified yoga therapist and national board-certified health and wellness coach. She started studying holistic health and wellness and embraced the practice of yoga close to 30 years ago. Furthermore, she has taught accessible fitness, yoga, and meditation to various communities and to veterans and their families and caregivers.
Marilyn has more than 35 years of military and business leadership experience in various senior-level capacities. She is a retired Air Force colonel, holds a Ph.D. in public policy, and is experienced in strategic planning, international and interagency collaboration, and logistics planning and integration. She currently serves on the boards of directors for the Black Yoga Teachers Alliance and the Integrative Rest Institute (iRest®) and is on the faculty of the Maryland University of Integrative Health Master of Science in Yoga Therapy program.
