President’s Message: a Year of Movement
Get ready for an electrifying 2025! ARPF is focusing on connection, growth, and vibrant well-being. We are declaring this a year of movement – a year to feel present in a healthy body with a sparkling mind.
We’re kicking things off with the return of our beloved Meditate for Your Memory Challenge (March 17th-21st)! Prepare to cultivate calm, sharpen your memory and focus, relieve stress and more. But that’s just the beginning! Look forward to:
- Yoga Week: Find your flow and build balance and strength, both physically and mentally (With modifications for all abilities).
- Movement Week: Discover the joy of diverse activities that get your heart pumping and your spirit soaring.
- Caregiver Appreciation Week: Honoring and supporting those who give so much, while helping them to prioritize their own well-being.
At ARPF, we’re deeply committed to empowering you on your brain health journey. Why this emphasis on movement? Because movement is life. It’s the key to unlocking physical vitality and mental clarity. Whether through the gentle flow of chair yoga, the freedom of dance, or the simple pleasure of awareness walking, let’s move together!
It’s all a part of embracing lifelong learning, challenging our minds, and prioritizing brain health. This year we’ll encourage each other to practice awareness, seek support when needed, and learn ways to enhance sleep, nutrition, and exercise – the cornerstones of a thriving brain.
And let’s not forget the power of human connection. Social activity is the lifeblood of a thriving community. Join us in making meaningful connections with those around you.
We can’t wait to see you at upcoming events or at the world-famous Brain Longevity® Therapy Training, yet another opportunity to connect.
Yours in Brain Health,
Dharma Singh Khalsa, M.D.
