President’s Message: 30 Years of Milestones

In Alzheimer's Care, Alzheimer's Research, General, KK Meditation, Meditation, Newsletter, Stress Management, Yoga for Alzheimer's

Imagine what a long, great journey the last thirty years have been. We have been reviewing a lot of our previous material and as I reflect on the milestones, the wonderful and supportive people we’ve met throughout the years, the challenges, and the opportunities, it all seems like yesterday. It really does. Wow!

The passion that fuels this work is still there. In fact, it’s grown because many more people have joined our Alzheimer’s prevention awareness campaign. From caregivers, educators, advocates to doctors, and other healthcare providers and researchers, we have built and continue to create a movement that is absolutely making a real difference.

Take, for instance, the First International Conference on the Integrative Medical Approach to the Prevention of Alzheimer’s Disease, which we organized in 2003. That wasn’t the first training we held for medical professionals, by the way. It was the third. 200 medical practitioners attended and it was a great success. We had outstanding speakers that addressed all 4 Pillars of Alzheimer’s Prevention®.

Among the topics revealed were Bain Longevity nutrition and nutraceuticals featuring the illustrious Parris Kidd, Ph.D., playing an important role in discussing the amazing Phosphatidylserine. Major Nisha Money, M.D. USAF (Ret) spoke about mental exercise; Alan Mintz, MD, founder of Cenegenics, spoke about physical exercise and so much more including stress-relaxation by yours truly.

We even had a banquet with a featured keynote speaker, Mr. Somers White.

Much has changed since 2003 and we’ve made so much progress. And now is the perfect time to acknowledge this work even more as well as our groundbreaking new research that has transformed the landscape of brain health and Alzheimer’s prevention.

And quite frankly, changed the world.

This fall, we are offering another innovative conference with presenters who are the latest pioneers in this burgeoning field.

I am truly looking forward to welcoming you to the 30 Years of Alzheimer’s Prevention Conference on September 30th – October 1st in beautiful Scottsdale, AZ.

Save The Date!

This is going to be a conference you’ll never forget. Cheers to another 30 years of trailblazing brain health and Alzheimer’s prevention.

Keep it locked on this space.

Yours in Brain Health,
Dharma Singh Khalsa, M.D.
