In Loving Memory of Cheryl Kravitz
In Loving Memory of Cheryl Kravitz

Our dear friend, supporter, and prevention advocate, Cheryl Rose Kravitz, APR, CFRE, RYT, BLS, passed away on December 20, 2025. Cheryl was a gifted communicator and connector of people: an editor, an experienced fundraising professional, nonprofit leader, Red Cross executive, and fearless advocate for justice and inclusion who used every role to lift others.
Cheryl brought that same spirit to her yoga teaching and to her volunteer work with survivors of domestic violence, where she inspired countless people to step forward and help. During her own cancer treatment, she began gifting small “magic wands” to caregivers and friends with the reminder, “you have the ability to do magic,” a message she lived every day through her kindness, courage, and generosity.
Cheryl served on ARPF’s Education Advisory Committee, the Peer-2-Peer Steering Committee, and offered constant support to the Foundation’s programs and projects. We are so grateful to have had her light and expertise guide some of our initiatives.
“As we remember Cheryl with deep gratitude, we honor her by continuing the work she believed in so fiercely: showing up for one another, leading with compassion and sharp intelligence, and never underestimating the healing power we each carry.” – Kirti Khalsa, ARPF CEO
From her ARPF team, pictured below:
“Cheryl has been a source of inspiration and hope for me.”
“Cheryl was an uncommon soul. She understood, more than most, the realms of spiritual wellness. She talked the talk and walked the walk. We learn so much from such women, I surely have grown stronger and wiser through knowing her.”
“She was a beautiful soul inside and out, and will be dearly missed.”
