We are honored to share the success of a very special event: the Annual Silver Fox Classic Golf Outing held on May 30, 2026.

This wonderful tradition is held in loving memory of Ron Schulberger, who passed away from Alzheimer’s disease in 2017. Ron’s family and friends chose to turn his legacy into a powerful force for hope, awareness, and prevention.

The Silver Fox Classic has become a beacon of community spirit. For Ron’s son, Todd Schulberger, the event is a blend of remembering the quality and impact of his father’s life while actively funding the future of brain health and longevity.

Todd shared what this tournament means to his family:

“We wanted to honor my father’s legacy and raise money for Alzheimer’s awareness and prevention. This tournament continues to be a huge hit – this year especially, we maxed out our attendance with 148 golfers and had the most successful fundraising to date.

The best part is seeing the genuine happiness and gratefulness on the faces of so many who thanked me for our efforts. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. In addition, it gives me comfort knowing that so many chose to take a day simply to remember my father. Many mentioned how much they missed him and spoke to the quality of a man that he was. It is a day that his memory and legacy are lifted up for his friends and family to remember.

And finally, I think I speak for all who participated… it feels good to assist in the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation’s continued efforts to prevent and combat these challenging disorders.”

The Silver Fox Classic continues to grow as more community members join the cause. This year, golfers made the best of the windy weather and had a fantastic time on the course.

Thanks to an incredible turnout, this year’s event achieved amazing results:

• 148 Dedicated Golfers hit the fairway in honor of Ron.
• Over $15K Raised to directly support ARPF’s vital research, educational resources, and outreach programs.
• 40 Sponsors joined the cause this year.
