Buckets of Gratitude

 In General

We are extremely grateful for your tremendous support on GivingTuesday. Your generosity helps us continue to fund research and provide educational programs to all those at risk for Alzheimer’s.

Speaking of research, I hope you are aware that we are undertaking a very ambitious project at UCLA. It’s our biggest yet, and promises to be groundbreaking.

It’s called The Pink Brain Project and will involve the prevention of Alzheimer’s disease in women.

Why women?

Because women are at a tremendously higher risk for Alzheimer’s disease than men. Yes, you read correctly. Close to 70% of all cases of Alzheimer’s occur in women, and, beyond that, women have twice the risk for Alzheimer’s as breast cancer.

Shocking, I know.

Our goal is to see 100% of women and their loved ones enjoy 100% of their lives without losing their mind and memory. That is why we are collaborating with UCLA to study the effects of our special yoga meditation called Kirtan Kriya (KK) in high-risk women.

We are very excited about this research, and, as you can imagine, it is quite costly.

Very few organizations fund this type of work. In fact, as you are probably well aware, most of the research dollars goes towards finding a magic-bullet drug that has thus far proved elusive.

The only proven way to prevent AD is through our 4 Pillars of Alzheimer’s Prevention, which includes KK.

Your ARPF is the trailblazer in lifestyle and Alzheimer’s prevention and, especially, the world’s renowned leader in studying meditation and memory.

We are asking for your support to get us over the hump in funding this study.

Although GivingTuesday has passed, there is still ample time in the remainder of the year to get on board, contribute to fund the study, and receive a tax deduction.

Here is what we need:

  • $30,000 to support a supervisor for the study
  • $50,000 for advanced biochemical analysis of the effects of Kirtan Kriya on physiology
  • $150,000 for advanced scanning research to show the exact effects on brain function in high- risk women

Please help us end Alzheimer’s disease for women. As always, we are grateful for your patronage.
