Brain Longevity Specialist Spotlight

In Brain Longevity Therapy Training, General, Newsletter, Support Alzheimer's Research and Prevention

Your ARPF is proud to introduce another outstanding Brain Longevity Therapy Training specialist: Lisetta Coffin, RYT-500, BLS

Lisetta organized a Brain Longevity Series over the summer.

“I did 5 weekly sessions consisting of an introduction session and then sessions on one of the 4 Pillars at the County Office for the Aging. Then I presented at The Gathering Place 50+ Community Center, a newly opened location in Oneonta, NY with over 1500 members. They offer social connections, movement classes, card games, pool tables, craft classes, concerts, massages, haircuts, medical pedicures, seminars, workshops, and the list goes on. It’s incredible what they offer as we are a small rural community.

I had 24 people who signed up. They have a meeting room with a big screen that I could plug my laptop into and present from there. On the last day, I made healthy snacks and had coupons for free Chobani yogurt (a local company who I reached out to and they generously provided coupons for my event) just to make it fun.

I provided lots of handouts and resources to keep this going and to help folks build up their own resource library (i.e. free subscription to Brain & Life Magazine, documentaries on Netflix like the Blue Zones / Twin Study, Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation’s website, etc.)”

Your ARPF is thrilled to see this crucial information being taught and thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you to Lisetta for being such an important part of guiding her community to wellness. We all have the opportunity to enhance our well-being and brain health through lifestyle modifications and education.
